Home made is always the best isn’t it?  That way you know what went inside your burger!  You can double the recipe and freeze them, very handy when you feel like a good burger, as long as the mince you buy is not frozen, but freshly minced.

    Step 1

Place the minced beef in a large bowl and add the onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, mustard, balsamic vinegar, honey, Worcestershire Sauce and parsley, mixing well with your hands. Add the beaten egg and water. (The water is added as it keeps the burgers more moist when grilling or frying). Combine everything well. Form four thick patties, either by hand or if you have with a burger press.

    Step 2

Place on a lined baking sheet and put in the fridge for at least an hour so the burgers will set. If meat was not frozen beforehand but bought fresh, you can separate the burgers with waxed paper circles and freeze.

    Step 3

Place patties on a lightly greased grill pan, cover and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes, turning once until they are done.

    Step 4

Serve the burgers in your favorite gluten free burger buns with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and crispy bacon!

Hi, I'm Jacqui, creator of The Blender and Senza G. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease in 2012 and since then, gluten free cooking has become a passion of mine. I just love food, experimenting and creating new gluten free recipes or re-inventing old favorite ones so I can still enjoy what I used to love before. Being Celiac makes cooking more challenging but with loads of patience, intensive research and a burning desire to learn more and more, living the Gluten Free lifestyle has become much much easier. My mission has been that gluten free food should taste good. Gluten Free does not mean taste free and I will keep on working to discover new ways of making it even better! ❤️
