Explore the Indian Vegetarian Cuisine. A nice Mushroom Masala that compliments nicely with rice and naan bread.

Directions
Heat the oil in a pan and add the spices – cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and bay leaves. cook for few seconds
Lower the flame and add the onions and some salt, add the garlic and cook until all softened up.
Add the remining spices and cook for few more seconds.
Add the tomato passata and cook until the sauce reduced by half
Stir in the mushrooms, cover all with the masala and cook for 2 mins
Add the cup of water and stir well
Cover the pan and lower the heat to low / simmering. Cook for 20mintes.
After 20 minutes check the consistency if its to your liking, you can add more water or cook a bit more.
Serve on rice or with Naan Bread
