There’s nothing like a fresh fruit salad on a sweltering hot summer’s day! Refreshing and a little bit boozy!

    Step 1

Wash all the fruit and drain.

    Step 2

Peel the pears and chop. Peel the apples and sprinkle with lemon juice so they will not turn brown. Slice the cantaloupe and using a melon baller, scoop out little balls. Peel and slice the kiwi. Peel and cut the mango into cubes. Hull the strawberries. Remove stem from cherries. You can use canned pineapple slices or cubes if you do not have fresh.

    Step 3

    Combine all the dressing ingredients.

    Step 4

Put all the fruit in a large serving bowl, add the dressing and toss gently to combine.

    Step 5

Cover and chill for about 2 hours.

    Step 6

The longer it marinades in the dressing, the tastier it will be! It is also lovely served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Hi, I'm Jacqui, creator of The Blender and Senza G. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease in 2012 and since then, gluten free cooking has become a passion of mine. I just love food, experimenting and creating new gluten free recipes or re-inventing old favorite ones so I can still enjoy what I used to love before. Being Celiac makes cooking more challenging but with loads of patience, intensive research and a burning desire to learn more and more, living the Gluten Free lifestyle has become much much easier. My mission has been that gluten free food should taste good. Gluten Free does not mean taste free and I will keep on working to discover new ways of making it even better! ❤️
