Creamy Curried Penne with Shrimps & Spinach

    A very quick and tasty pasta dish you can prepare in minutes! It will definitely be one that you will keep making!

    Step 1

    Heat a little olive oil in a pan and cook the minced garlic but do not let it brown. Add the white wine if using, cook stirring for a few seconds. Pour in the cream and add the turmeric, curry and chilli, stir well till combined. Add a little water if too thick or if too thin, add a tsp of cornstarch mixed with a tsp of water.

    Step 2

    In the meantime bring a pot of salted water to boil. When boiling, throw in the spaghetti.

    Step 3

    Add the prawns to the curry sauce and season with salt and pepper. Throw in the baby spinach, stirring them in till they wilt.

    Step 4

    When pasta is al dente, drain well. Mix it gently with the sauce until pasta is coated. Serve sprinkled with flaked almonds if desired.
